Adoption Requirements
Before deciding to adopt an animal, please read the following carefully

 Application for dog adoption will only be consider if the adopter is 21 years of age or over.

 The adopter must provide Hong Kong Identification Card or document of equivalent with the latest original (within one month) prove of residential address for reference.

 Deposit of HK$ 1,000 for all breeds is required(or pay for the adopted Medical Expenses) for the adoption to ensure and protect the adopted will be completed with Heartworm test, de-sex operation, basic vaccinations and its dog license.

  • Puppy girls must be complete with requirement as stated in (3) before the age of 5 months old.

  • Puppy Boys must be complete with requirement as stated in (3) at the age of 5 months old (or his testicles have developed).

  • Mature dogs must be complete with requirement as stated in (3) within 2 weeks from the day of adoption or our centre will arrange the de-sex operation date for the adopted.

 All of the above mentioned; de-sex operation, basic vaccinations and its dog license should only be recognized by HKSAR Government licensed vet.

The adopter will be able to collect back the deposit if and only if the adopter has completed the above requirements and “faxed” to our centre (we reserve the right to request an inspect ion of the said original documents from the adopter), otherwise our centre shall confiscate the deposit and have the right to retrieve the adopted animal.

 HKAAC reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notification.
